Cathy’s 30 years of people management experience has been developed through a unique blend of roles within the private sector from Vancouver to Halifax.

Cathy joined the Blue Ocean team in 2000 as Director, Human Resources. She is responsible for ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to support our clients’ goals. That responsibility goes hand in hand with ensuring we are delivering on our employer brand promise that working at Blue Ocean will be time well spent. Cathy’s leadership is focused on developing processes and a corporate culture that produce engaged employees who make a meaningful contribution to our clients’ business goals. This includes fostering organization development, succession planning, training, leadership, and employee development programs.

Cathy graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Home Economics with a major in Fashion/Design and a minor in Business. Her passionate and creative approach to human resources supports Blue Ocean in reaching its goals and objectives.
