John DoaneJohn Doane P.Eng, Chief Technology Officer

John is responsible for overall technology strategy and for the implementation of IT solutions for Blue Ocean’s contact centers. John’s role is critical in putting Blue Ocean at the forefront as a specialty provider of multi-channel customer relationship services. With his background as an engineer, John brings a particular focus on optimization to his role. That passion results in a constant striving to maximize efficiency through best-in-class technology solutions so clients benefit from productivity gains while agents on the frontline benefit from intuitive, streamlined tools and processes.

John joined Blue Ocean in 2001 bringing with him more than 15 years experience in the technology sector. He is regarded an industry expert and change agent with respect to Customer Service Contact Center implementation and performance management.

John received a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from Dalhousie University, and his Bachelor of Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (now Dalhousie). He is also a registered member of Engineers Nova Scotia.
