Peter Casey
Director, Finance
As Director, Finance, Peter is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership that supports Blue Ocean’s continued growth and operational excellence. He oversees key financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, payroll, and financial planning, helping ensure the organization is positioned for long-term success.
Peter brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across a diverse range of industries, including technology, healthcare, professional services, and other growth-oriented organizations. Throughout his career, he has led financial transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, process improvement projects, and executive-level planning activities that have strengthened business performance and supported sustainable growth. He holds both a CPA designation and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University.
Known for his practical and collaborative leadership style, Peter combines strong financial expertise with a genuine commitment to developing people and building high-performing teams. He believes effective finance leadership is about more than numbers. For him, it is about creating clarity, supporting decision-making, and helping organizations achieve their goals.
Peter plays an important role in strengthening financial strategy, supporting the growth of new client partnerships, and helping the organization continue to innovate and evolve.
