President and Chief Operating Officer
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Andrew leads the Blue Ocean Contact Centers operations team. Core to his role is the continuous monitoring of financial performance and productivity, human resource planning, and quality assurance.
Andrew O’Brien joined Blue Ocean in 1997. In his more than two decades with the company, Andrew has been instrumental in creating strategic solutions that build loyalty and help drive revenue for clients with complex support requirements. Under Andrew’s watch, the operational culture of Blue Ocean is one of constant striving for even greater efficiency, for dynamic innovation, and for the continual pursuit of best-in-class performance.
Andrew has previously served as Blue Ocean’s SVP Business Development and prior to that was responsible for all of the company’s contact centres as VP Operations. Before joining Blue Ocean, Andrew spent 13 years in the telecommunications industry, serving as the marketing manager for the regional leader in telecommunications as they evolved their fledgling mobility products in the 1990s.
Andrew holds a BComm, Finance & Marketing from Saint Mary’s University and an MBA from Dalhousie University.
